"This year’s Spring edition of Equinox & Solstice is a single 2012 refill hogshead of 10 year old Ben Nevis Highland Single Malt. As always with this series, we bottled it at our favourite dramming strength of 48.5%. It’s a typical refill matured, youthful example of Ben Nevis, with an oily mouthfeel, lots of waxy flavours and natural barley sweetness in the back palate. A simple, fresh, highly pleasurable and adaptable dram, perfect for springtime sipping. This year’s series features a set of wonderful original artworks by Skye based artist Ellis O’Connor."

"After re-racking into port casks for around two years, we felt that this whisky was not yet ready for bottling. Our team decided that the spirit had been slightly overpowered by the casks. As a result, the casks were then transferred into refill bourbon for around a year which has created a deliciously rounded dram. Notes of raspberry ripple ice cream, juicy dates and peanut butter reveal themselves sip by sip."
