Producer Tasting Note

Nose: extremely dense and focussed on thick notes of dark, sticky fruits, damp pipe tobaccos, plum wine and aniseed. Also many layers of rancio, green walnut liqueur and date molasses. A stunning and sumptuous sherry bomb. 

Palate: despite how dark and intense the sherry influence is, there is still a good balance between the fruits with many thick notes of fig puree, strawberry jam and treacle, then daker chocolate with sea salt, pickled walnut and sweetened black coffee. 

Finish: long, perfectly drying, with many herbal bitters, notes of liquorice bark, more treacle, aniseed and big notes of clove and hessian.
