This little gem is a bit cheeky, one look at the label should tell you everything you need to know about the distillery it was made at... Spoiler Alert: it's Clynelish, and the oldest bottling of Clynelish we are aware of, bottled after 42 years at 43.5%.
Producer Description: "A 42 Year Old Single Malt from an undisclosed Highland distillery. A batch of 473 bottles at 43.5% abv. There are a few more distilleries in the Highlands than Islay, but not quite as many as Speyside. It’s still going to be hard to figure out where this could have been distilled. Can you tell which one it is? At 42 Years Old, this suggests that distillation would have occured in 1977/78!"
