Bruichladdich Organic 2011
$124.99
Distilled from organic "publican" barley grown at Mid Couls Farm near Inverness. The whisky was matured in first fill Bourbon before bottling after 11 years at 50%.
Producer Description
"Mid Coul farm, located close to Inverness in the north of Scotland, provided our first crop of Organic barley back in 2003. A progressive 2,755 acre estate, Mid Coul has a closed-loop fertility system that generates electricity using an anaerobic digestor while allowing almost all waste material to be recycled as fertiliser.
"With no artificial input, barley is fertilised from the ground up and is therefore the purest expression of its terroir – the soil, the climate and geographical location of where it is grown.
"Working in harmony with nature, this sustainable spirit is the future of whisky and an important expression in our Barley Provenance series.
"The delicate floral spirit is matured in classic American oak, bringing a wonderful combination of creamy vanilla and fudge with honeyed citrus notes, ripe fruit and delicate spices."
Port Askaig 45 Year Old Islay
$2,039.99
This ancient Islay single malt is exclusive to KWM. Bottled from a marriage of 5 sherry butts and bottled at a precariously low cask strength of 40.8%. Believed to be Bunnahabhain, the whisky scored 90pts from Whisky Fun in 2014, but in 2019 he upped his score to 91pts, which I still feel is low. This is old school tropical whisky!
Producer Description
"Matured in five sherry butts, this expression was distilled in 1968 and bottled at a cask strength of 40.8%. Port Askaig 45 Year Old is an old Islay style that is almost completely lost today. Fruit driven, with next to no smoke and with an abundance of tropical fruits such as mangoes and papayas, this is a very rare whisky and one to be savoured. "
Bunnahabhain Toiteach a Dha
$101.99
As if 'Bunnahabhain' wasn't hard enough for most people to pronounce, Islay's great underdog of a distillery releases a whisky with a name guaranteed to tie your tongue in knots. Toiteach a Dha - pronounced 'Taw-check-a-gah' - is a peated expression that replaces both its forerunner (Toiteach) and the beloved Ceobanach. The name actually means "Smoky Two," which refers to the fact that this is considered a sequel to the original Toiteach. This time 'round, though, they've amped up the sherry influence, so fans can expect a smashing together of Bunnahabhain's house styles: sharp, clean young peat and rich creamy sherry. 46.3% abv

Producer Description
"Stiùireadair (pronounced ‘stew-rahdur’ and means ‘helmsman’ in Scots Gaelic) is the latest member of the Bunnahabhain crew. With a brackish, coastal tinge, this sherried malt will transport you to Bunnahabhain bay, with a smattering of sea spray and dried fruit lingering on your lips."
Ardbeg 25 Year
$1,499.99
Bottled at 46%, the Ardbeg 25 Year is the oldest whisky in the distillery's core range.
Producer Description
"Bottled from incredibly rare casks filled during some of the Distillery’s darkest days, this is the oldest whisky to join our core range. This supreme expression proves unequivocally that age cannot tame Ardbeg’s smoky power. But it can yield some of the most complex and majestic flavours ever to burst forth from Ardbeg Distillery."
Laphroaig 10 Year Sherry Oak
$109.99
This popular bottling of Laphroaig is finished in oloroso sherry casks before bottling at 10 years of age and 48%.
Producer Description
"Unforgettable flavours from our classic 10 Year Old whisky find harmony with the sweetness and complexity of Oloroso sherry to create Laphroaig® 10 Sherry Oak. Finished in European sherry oak casks for a particularly memorable single malt. This unique expression begins with the same time-honoured process that goes into our regular 10 Year Old Laphroaig®. After drawing rich character from ex-Bourbon barrels, the spirit then rests in casks previously filled with sweet Oloroso sherry. Each barrel is hand selected to add extra complexity to our quintessential single malt. It’s what layers notes of Manuka honey and grilled bacon onto our renowned flavours of peat smoke and seaweed. "
