Situated in the heart of Saint Emilion, in the western part of the commune, this vineyard benefits from clay-limestone and sandy soil that promotes good drainage. Made in stainless steel tanks equipped with temperature control, the traditional fermentation lasts about 21 days and 2 to 3 punch downs are done in the first few days in the tank to extract tannins and colour. The wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels in their vast medieval cellars dug in the rock in the very heart of the village of Saint Emilion.
A harmonious blend of Merlot 85%, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The fat and flesh of the wine are mainly attributed to the Merlot while Cabernet Sauvignon lends it its finesse and power.
