Oud Beersel Green Walnut
$37.99
Producer's notes:
After the bottle fermentation this sparkling walnut Lambic of Oud Beersel is called Green Walnut, which is a strong companion for blue-veined cheese, dried ham and salads with nuts. The green walnuts macerate in the Lambic beer enabling them to unfold their taste and flavour.
The initial bitterness which is extracted from the walnuts is tempered during the ripening of the walnut Lambic. This results in a delicate balance between the light sourness of the Lambic beer and the bitterness of the green walnuts. The wooden wine barrels provide a subtle touch of red fruits to the beer.

The juice is extracted using a roller mill with four passes, fermented in stainless steel vats with proprietary yeast, and double distilled in stainless steel pots with copper coils. The tequila is aerated before bottling to enhance drinkability and rested in stainless steel vats for 1-3 months to allow it to become more full-flavored and full-bodied.”
Chateau Phelan Segur 2020
$114.99
It was not by chance that Bernard O’Phelan (1770-1841), a young Irish wine merchant, left his native town of Tipperary at the end of the 18th century to set himself up in Bordeaux. The town at this time was an important trading hub with the British Isles. Close relations were built up between the families that bought and sold the wines of the region from one another. These links were such that they led to alliances and even marriages, in particular that of Bernard Phélan with one of the daughters of Daniel Guestier, a well-known merchant in the Bordeaux wine market. Helped by the experience of his father-in-law, he could now envisage producing his own wines. At the beginning of the 20th century, Château Ségur de Garramey took on its modern name of Château Phélan Ségur.
