A cool variation on what's coming out of Kentucky's Casey Jones Distillery, home of the square copper pot still. This is spirit that has been distilled from 'corn and cane' (catchy, right?), matured in new oak, then shifted over to ex-Bourbon Barrels for a last bit of polishing. It's obviously not Bourbon, but it is delicious. Matured for up to 4 years, before bottling at 53.5%

Domaine A.F. GROS is a vineyard located in Burgundy, in Pommard, which was founded by Anne-Françoise GROS. The creation of the estate dates back to 1988.b François PARENT, originally from Pommard, is Anne-Françoise's husband. He has been the winemaker of the Domaine's wines since its creation. His know-how and reputation are recognized worldwide and his wines are a perfect expression of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a unique combination of elegance and depth. Today, two of their three children work on the Domaine, Caroline, and Mathias. The brother and sister share the winemaking, and the other the management, development, and marketing of the domaine's wines.

Pierre-Henri Rougeot is a young vigneron with generations of family roots in the town of Meursault. He grew up learning farming and the craft of winemaking with his father and by studying in Beaune. In 2017, he decided to add one more activity, a small negoce where he could make wines his way. The fruits come from his family estate, vineyards which are farmed organically. The production is really small, one barrel here of one cuvee, two over there, max 4 barrels of Gevrey. Pierre-Henri makes his wines with little intervention meaning: no SO2 until bottling, no fining and no filtration. The reds are macerated with whole-cluster and age in neutral barrels; the whites are pressed directly in barrels, with no battonage and aging sur lees.
