They are an iconic winery and "virtually all" of winemaker Robert O'Callaghan's wines are sold to a loyal following directly from the winery door." In other words, grab a bottle or two while you can. Alicante Bouchet is related to Grenache but unusual in that the flesh is red. As such it's not technically rosé but rather a light red wine; there is no skin contact required as the free run juice is already red. It has a little sweetness but it's a delicious cherry bomb with a touch of cranberry and citrus. Serve chilled.

This Tawny Port-style fortified wine hails from the Barossa Valley of Australia. Produced by Rockford Winery, it takes its name from an old Paddle Steamer named Marion. The wine itself is aged in small oak casks for an average of 15 years before bottling. Rockford is arguably the most sought-after producer from the Barossa Valley, and their wines have a large cult following.

This is not your typical light and crisp Rosé. Daydreamer's 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier are made from the Saignée of the winery's Amelia red wine. Saignée means that this pink juice was pulled from the red wine's tank just as it began fermentation. This Rosé had 18 hours of skin contact with the combination of Syrah and Viognier leading to a floral, fruity and silky wine with a touch of body to it as well.
