Bussola is one of the legendary producers in the Valpolicella region of Italy. Located in the Veneto, it is a blend of grapes: 40% Corvina, 40% Rondinella, 10% Molinara and 10% other grapes. Picking begins in the middle of October and the wine is bottled in April of the next year. Valpolicella wines are young and meant to be consumed in their youth. Their aromas and flavors are delicate and best enjoyed with hors d'oeuvres, pasta dishes, poultry or cheese.

Valpolicella is the famous wine growing region in the north of Italy. Generally three grapes are used in the production of Valpolicella: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of October and, after fermentation, rest in large oak barrels for a year. The resulting wine is very fresh with clear notes of cherry and currants.
