Cù Bòcan is a moderately peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky made by Tomatin Distillery; which is in the Highlands. This 15 Year Old version of Cù Bòcan was matured exclusively in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks before being bottled at a robust 50% ABV.

"Cù Bòcan 15 Year Old takes us back to where it all began, when we first started producing lightly peated spirit at Tomatin Distillery in the midst of winter. Matured fully in Oloroso Sherry casks for a minimum of 15 years, this is a decadent single malt with sun dried fruits and smoky exotic spices."

A very tasty release from the Tomatin core range, this 14 year bottled at 46% was finished for a year in Tawny Port Pipes.
Distiller's Tasting Note
Aroma: Honeydew melon, red berries, baked apples. Rich toffee, butterscotch. Sweet honey and bitter dark chocolate.
Taste: Fruit and nut. Peaches, apricots, mango and plum. Mixed walnut and pecan.
FInish: Smooth fruit salad which lingers on the palate.

Bottled at 46%, the revered Tomatin 18 year old is finished 3-4 years in ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts after primarily maturing in mostly in ex-Bourbon casks.
