At once one of the most well-known (and mispronounced!) and yet still underrated distilleries in Scotland. I'm not sure how that's possible, but it is. The masses know Auchentoshan, but only the most dedicated of malt fiends know enough to chase indie Auchentoshan, because that's where we really begin to see what this Lowland distillery is capable of. 

The label says rum cask finish. I think we can safely assume the spirit slept in ex-Bourbon before being re-racked. And an outurn of 898 bottles at this strength suggests maybe 2-4 casks married here, depending on size. 

47.5%, natural colour, and non chill-filtered.
