Released annually, this is the first time we've ever seen a Distillers Edition, in the year it was bottled. This Lagavulin has been finished "Double Matured" in ex-bodega Pedro Ximenez Casks, before botlting at 46%.

Nose: Satisfying and enticing; intense peat, vanilla. A raisiny sweetness checks the smoke. Crisp, roasty malt.
Palate: Sweet and luscious; clear malt, smoke fills the mouth. Very salty tang; coffee, vanilla, a glimmer of fruit.
Finish: Incredibly long, even for Islay. Fruit, peat, and long-lasting oak. Very engaging and enjoyable.

This is the new core release of Lagavulin 8 Year, released on the heels of the highly successful 200th Anniversary release of Lagavulin 8 Year. Bottled at 48% it was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and ex-wine seasoned casks.

Distilled in 2007, this 12 year old Glen Kinchie Distillers Edition was bottled at 43% after finishing in Amontillado Sherry casks.
Tracing its origins to 1820's-30's, this Lowland Distillery is located only 15 miles from Edinburgh. Its medium-hard water flows from the nearby Lammermuir Hills and is said to contribute to its dry, complex flavor. Long used in blended whiskies, in 1988-89, it was launched as a single malt, and later an Amontillado sherry finish was added to the portfolio.

Distilled in 2007, this Oban single malt was bottled in 2021 after finishing in ex-bodega Montilla Fino casks. This is the first time we've seen a Distillers Edition bottling, the year it was actually distilled.
