Eléonore Moreau Chablis comes from the small, picturesque village of Poilly-sur-Serein, located 15 minutes away from the the town of Chablis. Within this village, Eléonore is the only winemaker to commercialize and bottle her wine (only about 15% of her production is bottled for export), and we are so glad she decided to share her wines with the world! This Chablis is a remarkable wine for the price point. It is elegant and refined; Notes of yellow apple, lemon, lime and expressive minerality! A fantastic wine to pair with delicate seafood, goat cheese and cucumber salad.

Domaine de l'Enclos is 33 hectares of organically farmed vines (Ecocert certification) on the 4 levels of the Chablis designation and notably on some of the most beautiful terroirs of the vineyard. The property is located in the heart of Chablis in a large estate, a former residence of the monk workers of Pontigny Abbey, comprising a large 19th-century building and a partly underground cellar built in 2016.
Most of their work is done in the vineyards. They take the greatest care in their vineyards to extract the best from them: respectful Poussard pruning, organic fertilizers, disbudding, careful trellising, leaf removal, and manual harvesting on all our vintages. We attach great importance to the life of our soils, which we maintain by scratching and sowing. To protect our vines from diseases, they only use products of natural origin, copper, sulphur and plant preparations. The domaine is fully certified in BIO.

Eléonore Moreau is not only the only female bottler in the tiny village of Poilly sur Serein, but the only bottler, period - all other producers instead sell their fruit to the Chablisienne. Low yields in 2019 threatened Moreau's production, but they did not prevent her from releasing this truly transcendent vintage of her flagship Petit Chablis. With the ultimate goal of avoiding intervention in order to allow the Petit Chablis to speak for itself, Pérégrinations is a tour-de-force with amble richness and depth.
