Hand picked by Billy Walker, this single PX Hogshead GlenAllachie was distilled 30 years ago, back in 1989. It has been put into a total of 308 bottles at a cask strength of 47.7% ABV. Only four bottles are coming to us at KWM! A quick note on colour... the bottle shot at left is a more accurate representation than the producer shot with box at botttom. Producer Tasting Note

Nose: Mocha, heather honey, ginger, pineapple and eucalyptus.

Palate: Fantastic presence of dark chocolate, mocha and dried fruit, with heather honey, orange zest and pineapple.

Pedro Ximenez Sherry is a luscious dessert sherry wine, with classic profile of figs, toffee and fruit. The slightly smaller hogshead cask used gives greater wood and spirit interaction, enhancing the intensity of flavours."
