A delicious Tempranillo blend from the Sierra Foothills Appellation in California. 50% Tempranillo, 29% Petite Sirah, 10% Malbec, 7.5% Syrah and 3.5% Grenache. The Bull exudes flavours of blackberries, pomegranate, black currant, violets, mocha and earth. Lower alcohol, moderate tannins and a lingering finish. Excellent food wine, powerful enough to match NY Striploin, Tenderloin, or Venison, but elegant and acidic enough to pair with Tenderloin, pork belly pheasant.

The oldest vines, averaging 60 years of age, are the source for the flagship red, spending 24 months in French (80%) and American oak barrels, and another three years in bottle prior to release. It's a complex mix of exotic spice, dark red berries and vanilla with ripe, well-integrated tannins. Lamb and game meats come to mind and decanting is recommended. It is capable of another decade or so of age.
