ATTIS is the wine quest of two brothers, Robustiano and Baldomero Fariña. Years ago, they joined the French Oenologist, Jean François Hebrard, to elevate winemaking in Rias Baixas wine region and the possibilities of its main varietals, such as albarino, and terroir aiming to elaborate artisanal and traditional wines, attending to their variety, plot or winemaking, bringing out each nuance and every aroma that gives them the climate, the terroir and, of course, the Atlantic.

Inspired by its role in Greek mythology and its connection with Cibeles (goddess of Nature), ATTIS, guides the steps of the winery. This is the flagship Albarino wine that carries the reins of this family project to which it gives name. ATTIS is the amalgamation of their deep admiration and respect for the vineyard and its terroir. This traditional Albarinois true to its varietal character, combining freshness and complexity thanks to an ageing process on the lees and the contribution of a short stay in oak foudres. It delivers creamy citus/lemon curd notes with minerals and balanced acidity. Try it with fish, creamy cheeses and everything you can imagine.

Astobiza is situated within the Txakoli de Álava DO, and the wines are made exclusively with grapes produced from the estate. The vineyard is located in the small rural municipality of Oquendo, in the province of Álava, about 30 minutes from Bilbao, on a 10-hectare estate divided into 7 micro-plots. Located 250 meters above sea level, it is protected by mountains and far from the bottom of the valley, thus sheltering it from fog and winter frost. 100% of their grapes come from autochthonous varieties, mainly Ondarrabi Zuri, some Ondarrabi Zuri Zerratie (Petit Corbu), and a small plot of Izkiriota (also known as Gros Manseng).

"The white that will be sold from October or November 2019, the 2011 Viña Gravonia Blanco comes from a warmer year with very low yields, and the wine is already showing some tertiary notes, with very subtle diesel-like hints. The palate is bone dry with some nutty undertones and a salty/bitter finish. Modernista wines are a project of Joaquim and Fran López, produced at Catedral Delvi in Spain's Catalonia region. The cathedral is an amazing work of architecture inspired by Gaudi.
