The Paul John line of single malt whisky hails from John Distillery in Goa, India which was established in 1992.
Paul John Bold is made up entirely of peated malt. The peat is sourced from Islay in Scotland and used in the malting of Indian six-row barley.

Producer Tasting Note
Nose: A whiff of smoke, a dizzying array of Manuka honey, prickly spice and red licorice takes over
Palate: At first, the delivery feels sublimely silky and studded with oak-like honey, this is followed by a cloudy, smoky feel that coats the roof of the mouth and leaves a tidal wave of dry molasses, peaty soot and a degree of copper in its wake
Finish: A light finish with a tinge of copper, gorgeous smoked mocha shaped by delicate and intricate spices
