Grappa is the Italian style of marc, which is a spirit distilled from the pomace of grapes. This grappa is produced by Distillerie Bonollo Umberto Spa using the pomace from grapes pressed to make Prosecco. 40% ABV.

"This Grappa was conceived in 1983, but it took a few years to see the light of day.
The goal was clear in my mind: a Grappa to encase the aromas of Tradition, but without the typical flaws of old fashion Grappas, often stingy, aggressive and oily.
It had to be an authentic Grappa, sincere and genuine, what I would now call a classic Grappa.
Moreover, it was meant to be a bridge between the Grappa of the past and the Grappa of the future, representing the present of Grappa with its best typical features."

Giusti Wine is owned by Ermenegildo (Joe) Giusti who immigrated to Canadian late 1970s. Mr. Giusti found success in the construction industry in Canada and in 2002, Mr. Giusti went back to the Montello Hills and decided to revive his family’s vineyards. The winery has grown to over 75 hectares and is the largest landholder in Veneto. Currently, Mr. Giusti splits his time between Calgary, AB & and the winery in Veneto, Italy. Giusti wine prides itself on producing estate grown award winning proseccos & still wines."

This grappa is entirely made from the pommace of Barbara grapes. Produced by Lorenze Inga, the grape pommace is sourced from the Moterrato and Asti regions of Piedmont in Italy. This clear grappa was not aged in casks, instead being bottled unaged at 42% ABV.
