St Martin Clos La Coutale is one of the finest producers in Cahors. The property was founded 100 years ago and now produces almost 20,000 cases annually. The first traces of the Hugel family in Alsace can be traced back to the 15th century. "Hugel" wines are made exclusively from grapes purchased from winegrowers under long-term contracts in localities around Riquewihr. Gentil "Hugel" shows the spicy flavors of Gewurztraminer, the body of Pinot Gris, the finesse of Riesling, the grapiness of Muscat and the refreshing character of Sylvaner. A crowd pleaser!
