Burrowing Owl Vineyards is situated within the very hot, dry bunchgrass climate of the South Okanagan, one of the four most endangered ecosystems in Canada. The first vineyards were planted in 1993 and the winery's first vintage was released in 1997. The winery also boasts the first underground storage caves in the Okanagan Valley. The international wine trade consistently names these wines among the best in the world. We love this Pinot Gris. Floral-jasmine and melon aromas are balanced by bright acidity and a long finish. Very, very limited!

Owner Jim Wyse produced his first wines in 1997, concentrating on 4 grape varieties -- Cabernet and Merlot for red wines and Chardonnay and Pinot Gris for white. Winemaker Bill Dyer takes special pride in the fact that Burrowing Owl has become one of THE Canadian cult wines and is highly sought after upon release. Look for cedar, mint and blueberry aromas, finishing with hints of dill and anise. Small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc added.

One of our favourite Canadian wineries! Black Hills became particularly famous for its Bordeaux-style red blend, Nota Bene, but winemaker Graham Pierce and his team also make stellar white wines such as this beautiful Chardonnay. "Rich and rounded, our Chardonnay has been in production since 2006. This is a fruit driven, barrel fermented wine."
The 2022 Vintage consists of 100% Chardonnay that spent 10 months sur lie and saw 6% new oak used before bottling.

A great wine from one of our favourite Okanagan producers! A Noble Blend is made in the spirit of Edelzwicker or Gentil, the traditional Germanic-varietal blend of the Alsace region of France. The literal translation of Edelzwicker is “a noble blend.” Year after year, this white wine is gorgeous, with lush peach, honeysuckle, and pink grapefruit aromas. A touch of botrytis adds richness, complementing the minerally, white pepper finish.
