The result of this mission is this wonderful wee cask of Spirit Of Yorkshire. Laid down in 2018 and fully matured in an ex-Islay barrel which has given it a furtive smooch of peat, this is a beautiful, rich and gently smoky young example of this charming English make. Glent Toon is a moniker for Glen Scotia, a distillery in the "Wee Toon", aka Campbeltown. This 8 Year Old Glen Scotia is bottled at 57.1% and is the result of one 2014 first fill hoggy filled with unpeated Glen Toon put together with one 2016 first fill barrel of peated Glen Toon.

"This is Decadent Drams 'Glen Toon' 8 Year Old. We made it by mixing together a 2014 1st fill hogshead of unpeated Glen Toon with a 2016 1st fill barrel of peated Glen Toon. The resulting multi-vintage small batch was bottled with a few degrees reduction at 57.1%. This is a terrific take on this famous Campbeltown distillate that preserves all of its usual funk and rich charisma, but with a balanced layer of peat and lots of juicy sweetness."
