No one know’s how old the Macallan ‘M†is, just that it has been meticulously blended, bottled in a handmade Lalique crystal decanter, and that at just under $4,000.00 it is the pinnacle of the Macallan 1824 Series. In late January a six liter bottle of the exact same whisky in a scaled up decanter sold for nearly US$650,000.00. It was the most expensive bottle of whisky ever sold!
