About Pivot Spirits
Pivot Spirits was founded in 2018 and resides in Rolling Hills, Alberta — about a 30-minute drive south of Brooks. If you zoom in on Rolling Hills from a satellite image on Google Maps you will see where the name Pivot Spirits comes from: all the fields in the area have the tell-tail rounded and circular shape of pivot irrigation. The distillery is co-owned by Lars Hirsch and Rachelle Fiset. Lars is an irrigation farmer with fields just across the roads from the distillery and the distiller as well. Just about all the grain used at Pivot Spirits uses for making Whisky, Gin, and other spirits comes from his fields. The only exception to this is when Lars uses corn, which he gets from his neighbours. Pivot Spirits does not malt or roast any of the grains it uses — it comes directly from the field, is ground down, and made into a mash.

"We’re always moving forward, even if it’s just to circle back. Since nostalgia could be the only thing that isn’t in short supply right now we though we might kick this IPA back to 2012. Malty, bold, and bitter just like we used to like ‘em."
Dugat Gevrey Chambertin
$274.99
Claude Dugat has long been a respected and beloved figure in Burgundy, and the wines produced at his eponymous domaine have captivated the world. Working alongside him for the better part of the last decade has been his son Bertrand and daughter Laetitia, to whom Claude turned over control of the estate with the 2015 vintage.
While the Dugat family traces its roots in Gevrey back to the 19th century, it was not until 1955, when Claude’s father Maurice purchased the historic landmark Grange des Dimes and converted the stone barn into a winery that the family domaine was born. The family farms some six hectares throughout Gevrey, with many of the region’s oldest vines falling under their care in sites such as Lavaux Saint-Jacques, Charmes-Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, and Griottes-Chambertin.

From the Producer
"Planteray Rum 3 Stars is a tribute to historic Caribbean rums, with a smooth blend of three star terroirs: Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad. While Barbados delivers richness and a balanced palate, Trinidad adds finesse and Jamaica provides an emphatic structure. 3 Stars stands out from other white rums thanks to a combination of both aged and unaged rums, expertly blended by Planteray.
