A natural wine haven for those searching for wines made free of additives. At Domaine Lapierre they grow their vines organically/biodynamically and ferment them without any additives. The estate was created in 1909 and now covers 18 hectares (nearly 45 acres) planted with the grape gamay black with white juice, mainly in the Morgon appellation with several plots within the Beaujolais appellation. At the domain we believe excellence depends on four essential elements: people, soil, climate and grape variety. They are widely regarded as the benchmark producer for Beaujolais. Despite being natural wines are not funky, weird or chunky, as some are.
Pietradolce Santo Spirito Etna Rosso

Santo Spirito Etna Rosso is a wine obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes from a pre-phylloxera vineyard that was brought to light and restored during land reclamation work. This vineyard is located in the highest part of the Contrada Santo Spirito at 900 meters above sea level. It is a very windy promontory with marked temperature variations and sandy soils, with abundant volcanic rock.
The harvest takes place in the second half of October. The crushing and destemming is followed by a maceration of approximately 18 days in raw cement tulip tanks. The 14-month aging in oak barrels is followed by maturation in the bottle. The result is a wine with an ample bouquet, which alternates spicy notes with red berries. The taste is vibrant, with distinctive elegance and personality, like drinking a bottle of great Burgundy.

The story of the Maison Marchand-Tawse in Burgundy begins with the extraordinary story of Pascal Marchand, the French Canadian boy wonder, who in 1985 at 22 years old, took the reins of the Clos des Epeneaux in Pommard. He became an overnight sensation, and in the process pretty much defined modern Burgundy. The collaboration of Pascal with another French Canadian, Moray Tawse of the Tawse Winery in Niagara, one of Canada’s most recognized wineries, gave birth to the new Maison Marchand-Tawse in 2011. This domaine has reached the quality level in Burgundy where you can rely on every wine they make to be exceptional, even in difficult vintages.

Ciavolich Montepulciano Dabruzzo

The vineyards for the production of this Montepulciano are located in Pianella, which has the characteristic to be positioned next to a small natural lake. The proximity to the lake allows the roots of the vines to stay humid even during the dry season. This freshness is found in the wine, elevated in stainless steel to leave unaltered this natural characteristic. After being selected and harvested by hand the grapes are taken to the winery to be destemmed and crushed and then set in stainless steel vats under controlled temperature for which only one delestage follows. The wine obtained is racked in stainless steel vats where it rests for almost a year to then age six months in bottle. Ciavolich is regarded as one of the finest producers in Abruzzo.
