At the foot of the majestic hill of the Schlossberg, in a setting of vineyards and roses, sits Domaine Weinbach, the "stream of wine", named after the small stream that crosses it, built in 1612 by the Capuchin monks. Sold as a national property at the French Revolution, the Domaine was acquired in 1898 by the Faller brothers, who passed it on to their son and nephew, Theo. A great figure of the Alsatian vineyards and ardent promoter of his recognition in Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, Théo Faller works for the quality of Alsace wines and the enhancement of their incomparable terroirs and grape varieties. In love with his property, he develops, expands and embellishes it. From 1979 on, his wife Colette and his daughters Catherine and Laurence showed the same passion for the great wines of Alsace and the same unwavering attachment to quality. Since 2016, Catherine Faller has been managing the Domaine with her sons Eddy and Théo. This domain stands as one of the greatest white wine producers in France.

"In 2008, Chichibu Distillery was opened by founder, Ichiro Akuto, and it was the first new distillery to open in Japan in 3 decades. Ichiro’s grandfather owned the famed Hanyu Distillery, which closed in 2000. Ichiro then took possession of all the whisky stocks left behind in the Hanyu distillery and used them in the blending production of the world famous Ichiro’s Malt Card Series. Chichibu whiskies are much in demand globally due to limited production and award winning quality. Ichiro Akuto is revered globally as a master craft distiller, producing some of Japan’s best whiskies today. A marriage of single malts from Chichibu and Hanyu distilleries. This expression marries sweetness and firmness.
