Sibiliana is the new project from the Cantine Europa Group. A collaboration between Sicilian grape growers, it brings together 4500 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Trapani, Agrigento and Palermo. The cooperative includes 2,100 growers and was founded in Petrosino in 1962.
The character of Nerello Mascalese can be compared to that of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Light to medium-bodied, it often has a streak of fine tannins. Compared to a Nerello Mascalese from Mt Etna, the Sibiliana Roceno Nerello Mascalese displays a more Mediterranean side of the variety. Exceptional value!

Cognac-born consultant winemaker and viticulturist Olivier Rivière was lured to Spain in 2004 by Telmo Rodriguez to convert his vineyards to biodynamics. Mirando al Sur comes from his own vineyards cultivated using organic principles in the village of Labastida. These are old vines aged over 50 years old and planted in gravel and pebble soils at more than 500 metres above sea level.
