After a long period of mediocrity, Château Lagrange was purchased by Japanese liquor giant Suntory in 1983 with Marcel Ducasse as directeur général and winemaker. Large budgets from Suntory allowed Marcel Ducasse to invest in the remake of the vineyards and cellars and led to a successful revival of Château Lagrange. He restored the chateau to it's once great status, and the wines are now first rate, once again.

A few drinks, a bit of amorous chat, and suddenly - surprise! - there's a wee offspring that's got a little bit of both parties in it (though it seems neither can properly make any sort of claim). The first 6 years will be spent in bourbon casks in Scotland, and then, the liquid will travel to Jerez where it will remain for 1 more year in old Pedro Ximénez casks.
NOMAD is the only Outland Whisky ® that completes its maturation in the unique microclimate of Jerez, under the different temperature and wind changes that this city has.
