Whiskyland Ch.28 Caol Ila 35 Year
$1,124.99
Producer Description
"The appearance of one of Whiskyland's most noble and shaggy residents can mean only one thing: another cask of delicious old Caol Ila is also hoving into view. Whiskyland Chapter Twenty Eight is a single, 1990 refill hogshead of 35 year old Caol Ila. As expressed by the Cooonicorn, this is a Caol Ila with some clear 1970s vibes going on: a little fruitier, a little more on the old school medicinal side, a little more garish in its charisma perhaps. What's for sure, is that this whisky is as sexy as a Cooonicorn in flares and no less impressive!"
Ardbeg Uigeadail
$133.99
This Ardbeg, pronounced (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal’), is a mariage of ex-Bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It takes it's name from the mysterious Loch that also happens to be Ardbeg Distillery's water source. It is bottled at 54.2%, but is still very approachable and savoury with the melding of sherry notes to Ardbeg's classic style.
Ortega Rioja Rosado
$24.99
Their story began with Quintín Ortega in 1986. A humble figure with some good ideas and the determination to carry them out, he decides to plant vines and start what is now the winery, led by his great-grandson, Carmelo Ortega. In the 90s, Carmelo established the winery headquarters in an old house that served as a winery for many years, now a site where an enotourism project is being developed to encourage tourism in the region. Their property covers approximately 700 hectares of scrubland, almond fields and vineyards, all of which are sheltered by the nearby mountains, which create climatic conditions that include a reduced risk of frost and a controlled level of humidity in the summer. This set of features and factors, together with the characteristics of the soil (pebbles, low organic matter), creates a unique grape-growing microcosm, which has allowed them to develop the “village wine” style they are looking for to define the wines of Tudelilla (the village where they are situated in the heart of the Rioja Baja region).. A blend of 90% Garnacha and 10% Viura, this wine has ripe and floral notes, with hints of tropical fruit (grapefruit, passion fruit and orange peel). Serve as an aperitif or cold dishes.
Cut Point Benrinnes 2008 Single Cask
$139.99
Cut/Point is an exciting new addition to the indie bottling game. The fine gent who launched this brand is not only a Keeper of the Quaich and long time whisky industry demi-god, he's also a local boy with his finger on the pulse 'round thses parts. In other words...Cut/Point may be new, but it's also already an old soul, and one that is easy to put stock in.
Benrinnes is a very hit or miss malt most of the time, but this particular cask is a real fireworks show. Cereal-forward with just enough cask influence to rein in the spirit. Refreshingly, left to be naked. It's a boozy, swaggering little beast in a style we don't see enough of. A bit challenging, and very retro.
Cask number 307387 was an ex-Bourbon Hogshead that yielded 298 bottles at 57.4%.

$284.99
Produced and bottled exclusively for the sinDicate Whisky Club, with a few bottles left to be sold at KWM. 51.5%
Producer Description
"This beautiful old style malt whisky was blended from only the finest and scarcest of Scottish pure pot-distilled malt whiskies. Great makes such as Downess, Parkwhore. St. Spankdalene, Convalscore, Inverlovin', North Pork, and Ladybum all feature in this exceptional recipe, which has been a closely guarded secret since last month, passed down from Ops team to warehouse by email thread, just as our forefathers did in their day. It contains only the purest malt whiskies, matured in exquisite sherrywood and refill casks. Absolutely no deleterious agents of any kind have been added."
More Details - From the Sponge Himself!
"This was a parcel of sherry butts 'filled' in 2001. But we don't know the precise mix of components, only that it was originally intended to be for Famous Grouse. The constituent malts are very likely Macallan, Highland Park and Tamdhu. I was told that some parts of the mix date back to 1975, but we've no documentation to confirm that. It would explain the very old school sherry matured character of those casks though, and the low cask strength ABVs, all circa 45%."

- 15% Miltonduff 2012 1st fill sherry (12 yo)

Samsara is an approachable, modern wine that brings Priorat to the palates of the world. Samsara is made from Garnacha (50%) and Cariñena (35%), with small amounts of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, all of them from the Gratallops and Vilella Alta areas. The vines are 15 to 70 years old! The nose offers aromas of ripe red fruit, tangerine, light balsamic, and delicate spice. The palate is fresh and nervy with ripe supple tannins."
