From Grain Henge/Troubled Monk in Red Deer, Alberta, this single malt whisky release was matured in cask for at least 3 and up to 6 years is bottled at an impressive 56.4%.
The whisky is made from a mash of 2 Row, Amber, Brown Malt, Chocolate Malt, and Crystal Malt. This is somewhat similar to the mash used to make Troubled Monk Brewing's Open Road American Brown Ale.

This cask was not merely selected by Canadian importer Gold Medal Marketing, but rather Andy Dunn bought it as a future, and patiently waited while it matured. This is a peated Raasay, matured in a freshly charred and toasted, custom-made Chinkapin oak cask, bottled at 61.4%.
Chinkapin oak or Quercus Muehlenbergii, is a type of American white oak cask native to central and eastern North America.

This Blended Scotch Whisky has been bottled at 50 years of age, and 46%, to mark the 75th Anniversary of Douglas Laing. Rumour has it this is a blend of 53-54 year old Speyside malts, including Glenfarclas, Blair Athol, as well as a trio of grains up to 60 years of age from North British, Invervgordon, and Cambus.

Oud Beersel Geuze Demi-Muids

Producer's notes:
In 2013, Oud Beersel acquired 65 Demi-Muids to mature its lambic beers on. These are oak barrels of about 600 litres with thick staves, which are mainly used in the wine industry. For this special Oude Geuze, Oud Beersel selected its best Demi-Muids with Lambics that have matured for 1 to 4 years in these barrels. Because the staves allow less oxygen absorption than other small barrels, the Lambic on these barrels is more round and tender.

Three years in a row of 40-year-old Bowmore releases! We don't have a lot of details on this one yet, but as soon as we know more, so will you. Safe bet, though: gentle smoke, deep and rich tropical fruits, dark teas, and a myriad of beautiful notes only found in wizened old Islay malts. To say we are dying to try this may be the understatement of the year.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 48.7% abv.
