I'm almost scared to utter the words 'toasted barrel' anymore, as we've all seen the feeding frenzy that ensues as soon as those words are strung together and stuck on the front of a bottle of whiskey. The real key here isn't that the barrels are toasted, but that they're not charred. Look for warm woody (and slightly smoky) tones with this one. Mashbill: 95% rye / 5% malted barley. 52.5%
