Eau Claire Single Malt Batch #008
$107.99
Eau Claire's 8th release of their own Single Malt Whisky was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks that were carefully selected and married together. The resulting whisky is bottled at 44.4%.
Batch 008 of Eau Claire Distillery's Single Malt Whisky has arrived, and this marks the first limited release helmed by Master Distiller Daniel Gowrie. Like Eau Claire's prior Master Distiller Caitlyn Quinn, Gowrie attended Heriot-Watt University in Scotland for their Brewing and Distilling Program.
Producer Description
"Batch 008 is crafted for those who seek a whisky with a sense of place and a story to tell. Groundbreaking with tradition, our annual single malt captures the spirit of Alberta’s prairies and peaks. Made from the world’s finest barley and crystal-clear glacial water, it matures high in the rare mountain air where shifting seasons gift remarkable depth and character. The result is a whisky that honours the old ways while forging new paths, an expression of land, craft, and innovation that is unmistakably Eau Claire."
Establishment Chaise Piquette

"Table Beer with Grape Pomace
We know what you’re thinking: What the heck is grape pomace? Easy! It’s the leftover skins, seeds, and stems from the winemaking (or in this case, grape beer making) process. Traditionally, piquette is made by adding water directly to the pomace, pulling the remaining delicate flavors, aromas, and color. So of course, we had to try this method with our most versatile table beer: Chaise! It’s insanely crushable with berries, citrus, and melon in every sip . Time’s up, sparkling wine — at 2.9% Abv , you can’t go wrong."

Anohka TINW Special Edition 2025
$79.99
Central Alberta's Anohka Distillery is getting close to having whisky ready to bottle. In the interim we have been enjoying their This Is Not Whisky Barrel Aged Single Malt. This "Christmas" release was made from heavily peated malt, bottled after 31 months in ex-Bourbon Quarter Cask and ex-Rum, at 49%.
Producer Description
"This special Christmas 2025 release is a peated single malt, offering rich, smoky notes. Most of this spirit started in quarter casks for over 2 years from which about half of the whisky was lost to some very greedy angels. The result was then finished in rum and French oak barrels and delivers warm, festive flavours reminiscent of Christmas around a cozy fire.
"This spirit was double distilled and the most heavily peated spirit we have released to date. The spirit that went into these barrels was named the World's Best New Make & Young Spirit."
