Uncommon Crab Pear Cider
$29.99
Info from the Bottle,
"In the cider-world, crabapples and pears sit on opposite ends of the spectrum of ingredients. Pears are sweet and subtle, wOKhereas crabapples are intense, bringing layers of flavour and deep dimensions of acidity.
This cider is the perfect marriage between two extremes, one that demonstrates a gestalt wherein the best parts of each shine, creating something better than either component could be alone."
Blind Enthusiasm Fruitful Pursuits Cherr

From Blind Enthusiasm
"This Spontaneous Fermentation blend is refermented on Okanagan sour cherries.
This cherry variety of unknown heritage was supplied by Steve & Dan’s Fresh BC Fruit. The blend of 1, 2, & 3 year barrels refermented for 2 months on hundreds of kilograms of whole cherries, which showcases the full spectrum of character from the fruit and pits. The result is a stunning, ruby red colour, with pronounced baking spice and marzipan flavour, and a rich, coating texture and acidity."
:Fruitful Pursuits: Cherry 2023 is a blend of 1, 2 & 3 year Spontaneous Fermentation neutral wine barrels, refermented on BC sour cherries for 2 months. The result of these techniques is a unique product shaped by our local environment and indigenous microflora. Alberta Premium Golden Rye 9 Year
$37.99
A new Rye from Alberta Distillers! With no press release or information or web page on the bottle to be found. What we can tell you is that it carries a stated age of 9 Years Old, and is made from 100% Rye Grain. Oh, and it is bottled at 45% ABV.
The back label does mention three barrel types used, but does not specify which types. It is from ADL, so the liquid should be good. Plus, the price is very reasonable if the quality is there.
If only this small, plucky Calgary Distillery was owned by a large spirits conglomerate that could afford to throw some money into marketing and entice us on what makes this bottle special... Sure, the same company owns a distillery on Islay that pointlessly co-brands some of their high-end single malts with a luxury car brand because they don't see the whisky as premium enough to sell on its own. That is just fine, but throwing a bit of a spotlight on one of the best rye distilleries in the world would be a bridge too far!
Mad Moose Original
$49.99
From the Producer
"The phrase ‘get on the wagon’ comes from the days of old. Really old. Early 1900s or there about. When horse-drawn water carts used to plod along dusty roads wetting them down. Now this is the age of prohibition we’re talking about, when, despite being outlawed, alcohol consumption was more rampant than ever. The men pledged to quench their thirst on the water wagon instead of succumbing to drink. And so was born the phrase to get on, or fall off, the wagon.
And that’s where we come in. A brand that believes in being on the wagon, whatever the reason. Proudly providing an alcohol-free alternative for those who don’t drink, who don’t fancy a drink, the designated drivers, the diligent dads or the don’t-want-the-hangover-ers. Whoever you are and however long you plan to be on the wagon, we welcome you.
Plus, non-alcoholic drinks don’t need to be as boring as your old uncle at Thanksgiving. They can have a little life about them. And our first offering, Mad Moose, does just that and then some.
