Distiller's Tasting Note:
Nose: A fresh and lively combination of crisp, green orchard fruits, stem ginger and hints of tangerine mellows to creamy vanilla with a delicate note of mint and a gentle twist of citrus, all held together with a sweet barley back note.
Palate: Warm toasted oak spices flood through green apple skins and dried apricots, ripening to hints of peach and soft banana. Subtle touches of aniseed and lemon zest create a contrasting edge to the fruit and add an intriguing character to the long, crisp barley finish.

This is a Bonded Bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillers in Kentucky.
The term "Bonded" or "Bottled in Bond" means that this whiskey had to adhere to the following standards as originally written into law by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897:
- All whiskey in the bottle must be produced by one distillery and by one distiller over the course of one distillation season.
- The whiskey must be at least four years old.
- It must be bottled at least 100 proof / 50% ABV
- The whiskey must be aged in bonded warehouses under United States federal supervision.
- The label on the bottle has to state which distillery it comes from and also where it was bottled.

The anCnoc 18 Year is a great addition to the brand's stable. It won Highland Malt Whisky of the Year 13-20 Year, World Whiskies Awards 2016. The whisky is matured in both Ex-Sherry and Ex-Bourbon barrels; 46%. Only 6,000 bottles releases around the world.
Producer Description: "The anCnoc 18 Year Old has matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither chill-filtered nor coloured. As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered."

We love this gin from a tried and true producer! Beefeater 24 is a new addition to the range. When creating Beefeater 24, Desmond Payne knew he had to come up with something totally different for his selection of botanicals. He used tea! The 12 ingredients used are Japanese Sencha Tea, Chinese green tea and then Seville orange peel, grapefruit peel, lemon peel, juniper, coriander seed, liquorice, angelica root, almond and orris root. It is called Beefeater 24 because the botanicals are steeped in the spirit for a full 24 hours. The result is a fragrant gin with good sweetness. This one over delivers!

The name is a "a heartfelt tip of the hat to the extraordinary Forgue distillery, Glendronach’s spiritual home in the Highlands and one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries." On the palate, tightly wound, bone dry, super-crisp and mouth-watering and with wonderful precision. Grosset Wines is an independently owned winery producing seven highly regarded premium wines each vintage. This wine is named "The Custodian" because of d'Arry Osborn's stubborn resistance at keeping vineyards planted with Grenache in the 1980s when the grape wasn't very popular, That move has since paid off as producer D'Arenberg now has just about 1/3rd of all old bush vine Grenache plantings left in the McLaren Vale and those vines are responsible for this wine which showcases plenty of character, bright acidity and plenty of fruit balanced by silky tannins.
