999 bottles in 500ml form were produced of Batch 10 of this Cambus Single Grain Scotch by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. We only managed to get it in mini bottle form for or Whisky Calendar, and only a few extra minis remain! Bottled at 50.7%.
Evan's Tasting Note
Nose: Vanilla and polished furniture, burlap sacks, apple and pear slices, strawberry and rhubarb pie, cherry danish and shortbread cookies.
Palate: Smooth and sweet with tingle of spice. Fizzy cherry cola, candied ginger, Maynards Fuzzy Peach candies, and candied almonds.
Finish: Soft and smooth with lingering peach and cherry sweetness wrapped in a pillow of smooth, drying oak spices.
Comment: This Cambus is a very approachable single grain that exhibits plenty of candy and confectionary notes. The 50.7% lends a bit of spice but doesn't make it too hot in the slightest, as the sweet notes power on through.

A total of 901 500ml bottles of this Batch 5 of Jura from That Boutique-y Whisky Company were filled, and also some 50ml minis such as this one. Bottled at 48.2% ABV.
Evan's Tasting Note
Nose: Some sort of subtly fragrant Alpine cheese - Compte perhaps, oatmeal with honey, sesame oil, pineapple Jolly Rancher candies, sliced cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto, sponge toffee, and a touch of medicinal and coastal notes.
Palate: Lactic and creamy with salinity as well. Cheese again but let's say Asiago this time honeydew melon, Sesame Snaps candy brittle, cashews, chamomile tea with honey, a dash of apple cider and sugary lemonade.
Finish: Cashews and soft nuttiness plus fruits with more saltiness on the fade.
Comment: I must say, this one is right out of left field for me. Not in a bad way - I just can't wrap my head around it. Perhaps it is because I have not spent enough time with Jura single malt in general, but I cannot figure this one entirely out. I had a fun time trying, though!

No official bottlings of Strathclyde Single Grain Scotch are currently being released by Pernod Ricard – not a shock since the company doesn’t do a very good job at showcasing many of its own distilleries. There have been a few different indie bottlings of Strathclyde to make up for Pernod-Ricard’s shortsightedness such as Cadenhead, Cooper’s Choice, and this mini from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, which we have only received in mini bottle form. 45% ABV
Evan’s Tasting Note
Nose: Wood and Carpenter’s Glue, soft citrus (grapefruit, lemon, lime), peaches and cream, yellow kiwis, bananas, vanilla and almond butter.
Palate: Sprite and ginger ale mixed together, bubbles and all, leading to a nice creamy texture. More apples, bananas, almond butter plus glazed pastries and a touch of marzipan.
Finish: Soft wood spices mingle with tingling citrus notes on the fade.
Comment: Smooth and easy drinking Single Grain Whisky with a nice bit of wood spice and citrus that keeps it all interesting and tasty.

Made from 51% Malted Rye and 49% Unmalted Rye distilled and aged in American Virgin Oak. This Millstone Rye is a single cask selected by Kensington Wine Market and bottled at a cask strength of 54.7% ABV.
Evan's Tasting Note
Nose: Pine sap, lemon jujubes, mandarin orange slices plus the fresh and bitter peels, apple cider, cloves, spearmint, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla pods, and gingerbread cookies. It noses like you combined a wonderfully bitter Amaro with a botanical gin.
Palate: Apple strudel, lime green jelly beans, fresh mint, fresh dill, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom again, toasted almonds and walnuts, ginger liqueur and a touch of London Dry Gin.
Finish: Still full of fresh citrus and herbaceous notes with a dash of nuts and spices thrown in the mix.
Comment: This is very nearly a ready-made-cocktail-at-cask-strength of a Rye. It is fresh and botanical with a nice amount of oak to add to it all. It is less dense and more dainty than the regular Millstone Rye which I also enjoy. If you wanted a rye for all seasons from spring to winter, this might just be it!

Part of the Last Great Malts series from Bacardi/Dewar's - this 13-year-old from Craigellachie Distillery is bottled at 46% ABV. This 13yr old along with the rest of the Craigellachie official prime-numbered lineup was introduced in 2014.
Evan’s Tasting Note
Nose: Honey roasted peanuts, honey ham, chamomile, Crème brûlée, brown sugar, peaches and cream, white chocolate, mango, and apple crumble.
Palate: Sweet and spicy. Teriyaki sauce with pineapple, canned peaches, ginger ale, glazed pastries, nutmeg, chamomile again, and salty pistachios and cashews.
Finish: Warm and creamy with lingering honey and nut notes.
Comment: This 13-year-old has been a solid dram since its debut and continues to be an easy recommendation at its price point.
