The closed distillery initially became a cask filling site, but was given a new life in 2011 when it became Diageo’s new cooperage."

"We have used a special parcel of whisky made at the Loch Lomond Distillery from peated malted barley, distilled in their copper Coffey still. Despite this being 100% malted barley, the use of a column rather than a pot still during distillation means this cannot be classified as a single malt – it is the perfect spirit around which to build a unique blended grain Scotch whisky."

Maybe a lesser known fact in the whisky world: Camerbridge is the single largest producer of Scotch Whisky. Granted, it's grain whisky the distillery produces, but the scale is simply beyond compare; about 6 or 7 times larger than any malt distillery, with production somewhere between 120 and 135 million litres per year. It's a bit surprising how few Cameronbridge expressions we see on the market, all things considered.
