Staoisha is Gaelic for 'Not your safe and easy Bunnahabhain'. (It's not, actually, but it is a bit of a warning.) Named for one of lochs from which Bunnahabhain draws its water, the Staoisha name is reserved for a fairly robustly peated version of Bunnahabhain. It drinks almost like a tasty young Caol Ila most of the time. Good company to be rubbing shoulders with, we'd say.
