About the Artist Collective Range
"Since the dawn of time, artist collectives have been a place of exchange, inspiration and creativity. In the same way, each of the single malts found in our Artist Collective range draws the richness of their olfactory and gustatory palettes from the marriage of various casks. Devoted to diversity, every region and every style of Scottish single malt, peated and unpeated, are represented. To illustrate the labels of fourth collection, La Maison du Whisky has called on contemporary art students from very different backgrounds. Each of them brings their own very personal touch that echoes the richness of the single malts selected! The Theme: Trompe-l’oeil is born when the desire to “deceive” outweighs the aesthetic intention and induces the artist to use all possible technical artifices."
About the Artwork ""Au coeur de la création" by Louise Fleury
"Situated at the western border of Speyside, Royal Brackla is one of the oldest distilleries of Scotland. In 1833, it was the first to receive a “Royal Warrant of Appointment” from King William IV. Showing great richness, this whisky relies on malted barley to fully express all the outgoing facets of its character, which gives it a unique charm that is impossible to resist. Louise Fleury, through her work “Au coeur de la création” (At the heart of creation) has therefore chosen to highlight the cereal at the origin of the beauty of this bottling: barley."
