Producer Tasting Note
Nose: This a sweet tropical dram with coconut, pineapple and banana aromas. The sweetness continues with toasted marshmallows and sticky toffee pudding but is balanced with a hint of peat.
Palate: The sweetness transfers onto the palate. There’s the velvety smooth richness of decadent desserts such as a tropical meringue pavlova, crème brûlée, toffee apple & pecan pie, along with citrus yuzu notes. There’s also an earthy quality from the Springbank dunnage warehouses.
Finish: The earthy quality now comes to the fore and finishes on a gentle dry note.

Glen Elgin has been hard to come by over the past few years, especially since any official bottles are not currently available in our market. The indie bottles we have seen have all been top notch, though! This Cadenhead bottling of Glen Elgin was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2019 at 23 years of age and 50.6% ABV. Two ex-bourbon hoggies got together to make a total of 486 offspring, with only 12 of these babies coming Canada and KWM.
Producer Tasting Note
Nose:Toffee shortbread, cardamom, pecans and white chocolate. Honey, sage and fennel.
Palate: Juicy and syrupy. Mangoes, passion fruit, peaches in syrup, maraschino cherries, apricots and lots of thick creamy notes.
Finish: A syrupy fruit bomb with pouring cream and a hint of ginger snap biscuits.

4 ex-bourbon hoggies go into the ring, 1044 bottles leave. At 57.4% ABV, this Cadenhead Small Batch botlting of Aultmore distilled in 2006 and released at 12 years old should pack a decent punch. Aultmore Distillery is one of five distilleries owned by Bacardi and officially bottled under the company's Last Great Malts line, which also includes Craigellachie, Macduff (bottled as The Deveron), Aberfeldy, and Royal Brackla.

Nose: Honeycomb, roasted peanuts, soft brown sugar and creme caramel.
Palate: Soft grassy notes, caramel and faint allspice. Hints of cocunt along with butterscotch and coffee beans.
