Glenfiddich 21 Year Gran Reserva
$369.99
Remember way back when this was finished in Cuban Rum casks... the Havana Reserve... "Resurrecting the lost tradition of maturing in rum casks, Cuban rum was decanted at the Glenfiddich distillery and replaced with 21 yr old whisky. The distillery settles for "Caribbean Rum casks" these days... maybe some of them are from Cuba! 40% ABV.
Producer Description
"We use casks that once contained premium Caribbean rum to finish our 21 Year Old expression. It’s the details that matter. This expression spends four months finishing in Gran Reserva barrels selected by our Malt Master, adding to its distinctive and complex flavour."

$249.99
Today, Croft is a part of the Fladgate Partnership, three of the most historic and highly regarded Porto houses, including Taylor Fladgate, Fonseca and Croft—a family-owned company that sets the standard to which other Port houses aspire.
Bright, saturated ruby. Brooding aromas of bitter cherry, violet and licorice, lifted by a resiny nuance. Then densely packed, concentrated and fresh, with rich, fleshy flavors of kirsch and dark chocolate. Finishes with big, broad, thoroughly ripe tannins and very good lingering black cherry fruit. This is surprisingly easy to taste today but should age well on its ripe tannins and sheer balance.
