Compass Box Brulee Royale
$274.99
This limited edition Blended Malt from Compass Box is inspired by Creme Brule, and François Massialot the chef at the extravagant 17th century court of Versailles who invented it. Primarily composed of Benrinnes and Clynelish with smaller amounts of Speyburn, Aberlour, Ardbeg, and a Highland Malt Blend Malt. 49%. Limit 2 Per Customer!
Producer Description
"Continuing our adventures into patisserie, Brûlée Royale sees Clynelish fruit and Benrinnes custard ooze together at a silken 49% ABV. Curiously regal for American oak. Gloss and texture from the inclusion of Speyburn and Aberlour, considerably aged in recharred barrels, caramelise perfectly in a sweet sugar seal.
"Our brûlée, fit for anyone with a royal appetite, combines the silky vanilla custard notes of malt whiskies matured in ex-bourbon barrels with sweet, crackling toffee flavours delivered by custom American oak barrels.
"Just as Massialot stoked the flames at Versailles to achieve the perfect caramelised crust, our friends at Independent Stave Co.’s Missouri cooperage employ computer-controlled toasting and charring techniques to coax extraordinary flavours from American white oak with great precision. Like the sugar atop a perfect crème brûlée, this whisky is testament to fire’s power to bring forth enchanting sweetness."
Compass Box Hedonism 2026
$194.99
The 2026 edition of Compass Box Hedonism label was designed by Australian Emma Hack featuring Scottish Actor and whisky collaborator Karen Gillan. Bottled at 46%, the vatting includes past releases of Hedonism (2024 and 2025) as well as a Blended Grain parcel, and grain whisky from Strathclyde, Port Dundas, and Cameronbridge. There was also a significant amount of Refill Sherry deployed this time around.
Producer Description
"A radiant evolution of Hedonism, where antique sherry and bourbon casks converge. As the label’s artistry is reimagined with each release, so too is the character within. For this year’s Hedonism, we were captivated by the interplay between the old parcels of Port Dundas in refil sherry and the more traditional first-fill bourbon that Hedonism is known for."
Compass Box Architectonics Blended Malt
$264.99
Of the 1200-1500 bottles of this whisky bottled for La Maison du Whisky, fewer than 100 bottles are coming to Alberta, exclusively to KWM. Bottled at 49% the whisky is supposedly composed of Benrinnes, Clynelish, and Laphroaig, with both ex-Bourbon & Sherry casks employed in the mix. Limit 2 Per Customer!
Producer Description
"Drawing its inspiration from eclectic and sometimes offbeat worlds, the London-based house, founded in 2000 by John Glaser, sets itself apart by constantly renewing the blend genre. The Architectonics blend is a nod to 19th-century industrial architecture. Particularly complex, this version is the result of blending a rich, smooth single malt aged in sherry casks, a peated Islay whisky, a blended malt and softer, fruitier whiskies aged in bourbon casks. Long afterwards, the intensely malty, empyreumatic dry extracts that escape from the empty glass punctuate a nuanced olfactory and gustatory journey."

Compass Box Spice Tree
$90.99
The original version of this whisky was so clever and innovative that the SWA (Read: Scotch Whisky Association [Read: Lords of Mediocrity]) banned it. So John Glaser of Compass Box came back to the table with a whisky that seems to dance through the hoops the SWA has placed before him. Whisky from 1st and 2nd fill bourbon casks have a secondary maturation in custom casks with heavily toasted new French oak heads. 46% NCF.
From the Producer
"A long time ago, we created a rich, bold Scotch whisky called The Spice Tree. Unfortunately, due to its avant garde method of oak-aging, we were compelled by the powers that be to discontinue production. Undeterred, we worked with our cooper friends in both France and Scotland to develop a new, hybrid oak cask that would allow us to achieve similar results, but in a way that would be acceptable to even the most conservative of observers. Et voila, THE SPICE TREE was resurrected – matured using a custom-made cask with French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies. THE SPICE TREE is a rich, intense malt whisky redolent of baking spices and layered with toasty oak accents that complement the underlying distillery character."
Compass Box Crimson Casks
$121.99
Crimson Casks is a new release that has been added to Compass Box's core range of Blended Scotch Whisky. Like the Glasgow Blend, Crimson Casks focus is on Sherry Casks. Unlike the Glasgow Blend, it is unpeated. The blend features a decent portion of single Malt from excellent Glen Moray Distillery (matured first in ex-red wine casks) as well as a "Distillery Near The Town of Aberlour" with much of the whisky being at least partially matured in first-fill Oloroso Sherry-seasoned butts made from American Oak. The resulting blend is Bottled at 46% ABV.
Producer Description
"We work with our partner in Jerez, taking American oak butts and precisely seasoning them with Oloroso sherry for a very particular wood interaction that creates a spiciness and generous intensity. We blend these sherry-influenced parcels with red wine-influenced whisky from The Glen Moray Distillery and our Highland Malt Blend in custom oak French barrels. Crimson Casks delivers notes of chocolate fudge cake and plum jam, followed by rich cherry, toffee and oak. These rich flavours are undercut by clove and cardamom."

"To toast 25 years of Compass Box, we present a remastered version of Flaming Heart that focuses on the flames and their protective chamber of oak. For this, our 8th rendition, we have sought the most complex range of flavour from the fewest possible components."
"Whereas previous editions have featured a proportion of unpeated whiskies aged in bourbon or sherry casks, for this eighth instalment we have selected only peated whiskies and those extra-matured in custom French oak barrels."
