Exclusive to KWM, one of just 60 bottles of a partial cask bottled for the store. Knockdhu Cask 3 is a Bourbon Hogshead, distilled in 2009 and bottles in 2019 at 10 years and 54.1%. If you are not familiar with the name Knockdhu, it might be because the distillery trades under the name anCnoc!

Nose: honeyed, nutty and toasty; malty, fall grasses, maraschino cherry, bright orange and marzipan; white chocolate and gas station Jelly Beans.
Palate: still malty and nutty with more fall grasses, lots of honey and toasted oak; more Jujubes and maraschino cherry, add in some Winegums and chocolate marzipan; a touch earthy, used tea bags and Demerara sugars..
Finish: long, toasty and coating with more fruits, sugars and toasted oak.
Comment: fresh, fruity and malty; a great dram at a good price!
