The Creyente Mezcal is made entirely from Espadin Agave from the Tlacolula and Yautepec regions of Oaxaca, Mexico. The heart of the Agave is roasted using mesquite firewood in a stone oven for three days before being ground with a stone mill, fermented in wooden barrels and then distilled in copper stills.

What is peculiar about this bottling is that it uses both Espadin and Cirial agave varietals to concoct the spirit. The pinas cooled then crushed by a traditional horse-powered tahona wheel. After that it is fermented, then distilled using copper pot stills. Bottled at 40%.
