Those grains find their expression during our labor-intensive cooking technique, bringing each grain’s individual character to life, while open-air sour mash adds soulful complexity. After four years in 53-gallon charred oak barrels, influenced by our high-altitude climate, an entirely novel bourbon unfolds.

The Morning Glory Bourbon has a quirky mash bill, consisting of Corn, Rye, Kasha (toasted buckwheat), Buckwheat, and Malt. It has been matured in a #2 char new oak barrel.

While this whiskey was made in Indiana, Spirits Of French Lick isn't just another bottler of MGP products: they are a bona fide distillery that sources locally grown grains and distills and matures the whiskey themselves. That is almost a quaint notion in this day and age, isn't it?

We chose to use a borderline offensive amount of Krush, Simcoe, & Citra hops with a touch of a new Riwaka hop oil product we’ve been experimenting with called Amplifire.
