A lot of times, indie bottlings are pretty drastic departures from a distillery's widely recognized profile, but every now and again we end up with something that sticks closer to the tried and true. This one is of comparable age, drinking strength, and obviously cask type, to core range bottlings from the distillery... but almost certainly better. Because let's face it, Gordon & MacPhail have a sort of 'Midas Touch' with Sherry casks. A sure bet at just shy of three figures (that penny still counts).
