Querciabella Mongrana Bianco Vermentino
$24.99
In 1974, Giuseppe (Pepito) Castiglioni – an industrial entrepreneur and lifelong wine lover – bought a single hectare of vineyard on a Tuscan hillside and set about creating an estate that would soon span the breadth of the region. He dreamed of producing elegant, rich wines, made not only from native Sangiovese grapes but also from those of his beloved Bordeaux and Burgundy… Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc, to name a few. Today, that single hectare in Tuscany is just a small part of the more than 100 hectares of the Querciabella vineyards. And throughout these vibrant vineyards – flanked in the Chianti Classico region by oak forests and rolling hills, and in Maremma by the rough beauty of an unspoilt Tuscan coastline – all of the grape varieties Pepito dreamed of now thrive in the rich, biodynamic soil that has become the single most important ingredient in Querciabella’s numerous wines.

Javillier Pulig. Montrachet Levrons
$176.99
The Javallier story started in Meursault, after the war in 1945 when Raymond Javillier decided to cultivate 2 ha. of plots which had always belonged to the family. The turning point for the estate was in 1974: Patrick received his diploma in wine studies (Diplôme National d’Oenologie) and his father handed over the estate with full responsibility for the harvest and wine-making process. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, the estate acquired new plots and the addition of land which belonged to the family of his wife, Catherine. In 2005, Marion, the elder daughter of Patrick, joined the domain after studies in management and winegrowing with the responsibility for sales and the winemaking process of the red wines. In 2011, Pierre-Emmanuel Lamy, the husband of Laurène (Marion’s sister) also joined the domain, in charge of the fieldwork and winemaking process of the white wines. Today, Marion and Pierre-Emmanuel are the third generation to benefit from and develop the family tradition. Javallier makes some of the finest white wines in Burgundy.

From The Producer
"Our fourth release has been matured predominantly in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, along with first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks, a small quantity of refill casks, ex-bourbon casks and – for the first time – ex-port casks too. Bottled straight from the cask, without the addition of water to reduce alcohol content, our Cask Strength series marries the traditional craft of whisky making with a modern approach to flavour exploration."

$81.99
This 12 year old mystery Speyside single malt Scotch is part of the Boutique-y Core Range, bottled at 45.8%. From a mix of fresh Oloroso Sherry casks.
Producer Description
"Indulge in the refined elegance of our 12-year-old Speyside single malt, a harmonious symphony of flavours that pays homage to the lush landscapes and tranquil beauty of the Speyside region. From a marriage of all new Oloroso casks, this expression unveils a captivating bouquet of caramelised nuts, orchard fruits, flamed orange peel, and smoky oak that greet the senses with a gentle embrace."
About the Label
"Our label design settled for just the one deer, starting with a young buck, getting older, and more dignified, as the whiskies aged, finishing with the dominant stag who has been through some scapes in his life; older, wiser, and looks a little pissed with everything! Our Speyside deer is a little more grown up this time around, and has gained a few ‘pints’ on his antlers.
"We love the expression on his face. he’s looking a little more serious this time, but mot quite a ‘Royal Stag’ yet. Boutique-y Whisky artist, Emily Chappell, has captured our brief so perfectly, and has injected her magic into it, as usual.
"The colours of the labels reflect the colour palette of the Aurora Borealis, while the ‘wave pattern’ across all of the labels symbolises the way the Aurora Borealis is always moving in the sky, if you’ve been lucky enough to see it."
