Sourced from a single vineyard on the Concongella estate planted in 1992, the White Gravels Hill Shiraz produces delightfully spicy and aromatic wines. White quartz gravel lay over the granite bedrock and the site can be particularly hard to farm, especially in dry years due to its free-draining nature. Small parcels of fruit from this vineyard are carefully selected to use in the final blend. This wine was produced using traditional methods including hand picking, whole bunch open fermentation and basket pressing.

And not only the Scottish style, but the archaic and classic methods we so adore: wooden washbacks, small direct-fired stills and worm tub condensers. Whisky geeks, cheer loud and long! The spirit was then put into ex-bourbon barrels and left to mature in a place where the seaside imparts its own character on the whisky. Expect gorgeous grain notes and soft fruits.
