Shea Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
$92.99
Dick Shea started his winemaking career as a grower, selling his grapes to high-quality producers such as Ken Wright. He planted his vineyards in the late 1980s, and forty years later this is now a 280-acre property with 140 acres planted to Pinot Noir and 6 acres of Chardonnay. One of the prominent Pinot Noir vineyards in the country, Shea Vineyard makes wines for their eponymous labels with 20% of Pinot Noir grapes and 33% of Chardonnay grapes. The bulk of the fruit produced is sold to some of the finest winemakers in Oregon and California, including Ken Wright.

Ochoa Tempranillo Crianza
$27.99
Wow, awesome! A fantastic (and extremely well-priced) red wine from Spain, one that's loaded with notes of cherries, earth, spice, coffee, you name it. Good stuff. We just love this winery. The winemaker, Adriana, is following in the footsteps of her family, making "elegant, modern, bold wines." See what the fuss is all about.
Ochoa Calendas Tempranillo
$22.99
100% Tempranillo. 100% Certified Organic. And zero oak influence! A fantastic value-priced Tempranillo from a Navarra winery we just love! This easy-drinking red has notes of cherries, licorice and coffee, with just a hint of flowers on the nose! You'll want to buy a case of this for your next house party. Pairs well with gatherings of friends and soon-to-be friends.
Ochoa Reserva
$37.99
A wonderfully well-priced Tempranillo-Cabernet-Merlot blend from a family-owned winery (and one of our current Spanish faves.) This rich, smooth and intense beauty has notes of blackberry and vanilla, and will pair beautifully with red meats. It's made by one Adriana Ochoa, who trained as a winemaker in Bordeaux and Australia before returning to Spain to work with her father, Javier Ochoa.
Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir
$54.99
In Te Reo Māori, Ata Rangi means “dawn sky” or “new beginning”. It is a name that honours their land and reflects the work they do here. Making wine is all about working in sync with the changing seasons and conditions on the land. They strive to craft wines that capture the essence of Martinborough, Aotearoa-New Zealand. They are a small, family-owned organic winery with a reputation for pinot noir, located at the southern end of the North Island. Ata Rangi was founded by Clive Paton in 1980. The first vines were planted on a small, stony sheep paddock at the edge of the Martinborough Village. Clive’s sister Alison bought an adjoining block soon after and in 1986 Clive’s partner Phyll Pattie bought a share in the business after moving from Marlborough where she had been working as a winemaker. 40 years on, they continue to work diligently to nurture Ata Rangi’s enviable reputation as one of the new world’s most respected pinot noir producers. Today, Alison Paton heads up the day-to-day running of the business, with Helen Masters crafting the wines aided by the vital stewardship of vineyard manager Ian Ewart.
While the Crimson may be Ata Rangi's second label Pinot, it is superior to other wineries' top bottles made from the heartbreak grape! A terrific Pinot Noir from one of New Zealand's wine-making pioneers, a guy who sets the benchmark for quality. Always a top scorer with the critics, too! "A winery that needs no introduction for NZ Pinot lovers, there’s not much for me to add about the long-serving, dedicated team behind Ata Rangi – they just go from strength to strength," according to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. "The Pinots have always been great!"
Amrut Fusion
$83.99
This whisky is the product of unpeated Indian and peated Scottish barley whiskies, which are married and further matured before bottling at 50%.
Ron Zacapa 23 Year
$79.99
This is without a doubt one of the world's finest rums. It hails from the Highlands of Guatemala & is sweet, rich and full bodied with an exceptionally soft, round palate. It is like a more refined Zaya. Unlike most rums, Zacapa is distilled from fermented cane juice rather than molasses. The rum is also unusual in that it is aged in a solera system giving it a blended rather than fixed age. The youngest rums are as young as six years old, and the oldest up to 23. The rum scored an impressive 97 points from the Beverage Tasting Institute.
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
$48.99
Cloudy Bay is a benchmark for this famed Kiwi white wine. 90 points from Wine Spectator for the 2013. The review: "Graceful and elegant, with spice, Meyer lemon and quince notes up front. This is silky smooth but shows tremendous power on the finish, where crisp, clean acidity and flavors of mineral, ruby grapefruit and stone fruit crescendo. Drink now."
