Cooperstown, New York isn’t just home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame anymore. Now there is another reason to visit – a Distillery! Cooperstown Distillery is young – having been founded in October of 2013. They do gin and vodka and have also sourced some whiskey for some of their bottles. The Cooper`s Legacy is a Bourbon made entirely at their own distillery. It will, of course, be on the younger side however it shows a great deal of toffee and butterscotch on the nose and palate.

Small batch Bourbon from the town of Kirby in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming. This whiskey is made with local grains: corn, wheat, winter rye and barley and water from the Madison Formation, a limestone basin 1 mile below the surface. Bottled at 44%.
Producer's Tasting Note
Nose: floral, with a hint of vanilla bean and caramel pudding
Palate: floral with brown baking spices and browned butter, vanilla crème, caramel, and a hint of cinnamon
Mouthfeel: light and smooth with vanilla bean and cinnamon spice filling the mouth cavity, hint of mint
Finish: medium length finish with toffee. Spice and vanilla fade

This Bourbon was selected and bottled by Cooperstown Distillery of Cooperstown, New York. About half of the whiskey in this bottle comes from the distillery - the other half is sourced from another distillery.
As this distillery is located in the same town as the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame - many of their bottlings have a baseball theme.
