This 1991 vintage, 24 Year Tamdhu has been bottled at 54.4% after maturing in 2 Hogsheads. Only 12 bottles are coming to Canada, exclusively to KWM.
Producer's Tasting Note
Nose: Lots of fruit - cooked apples and then a faint medicinal and grassy note
Palate: More cooked apples, butter pastry, aniseed and cloves with walnuts.
Finish: A light and short finish, very medicinal with allspice and more cloves.
Distillery Fact: Sold by the Edrington group to Ian Macleod distillers in 2011, only now is it being seriously marketed as a single malt through its official bottlings, having previously been mainly used in blends.
