Part of Cadenhead's 12th Small Batch release, a range exclusive in Canada to KWM. This whisky was distilled on the 11th of May in 1993. It is a marriage of two hogsheads, casks 1530 and 1531, bottled at 47.3% after 22 years. 18 bottles are coming to Canada.
Distiller's Tasting Note
Nose: A meaty note initially like beef stock, fading quickly to cut grass and wild flowers.
Palate: An unexpected all spice note hits first, growing into something sweeter and creamier, like shortbread and clotted cream.
Finish: A mouth coating and extended finish, very oily and with a little bit of cedar wood.
Distillery Fact: This whisky was distilled one year before the distillery closed for 9 years in 1994. The distillery was bought by a consortium in 2003 who in turn sold the distillery to the Picard family in 2008.

The 20 year has been matured exclusively in First fill Ex-Bourbon barrels. Tullibardine is produced with unpeated single malt and is a very gentle Highland malt. Bottled at 43%.
Distiller's Tasting Note: "This is a wonderful, charming, single malt that delivers vanilla, cocoa, honey, and oatmeal in equal measure, while finishing smooth and dry on the palate. There is a complexity from its age, but there is still that hint of subtle sweetness that Tullibardine has in its malts."

When Tullibardine retooled their lineup in 2013 the 25 year was launched as the premiere expression in the core range. Bottled at 43%, the distillery has not specified the cask type.
Tullibardine located in the southern Highland town of Blackford, just north of Perth, was the first distillery built in Scotland after World War II. The distillery sits on the site of a series of breweries which date back more than 500 years. In 1488 King James IV, then aged 14, paid a visit to a brewery in Blackford to purchase beer for his coronation.
Distillery's Tasting Note: "This is benchmark Tullibardine, full-bodied, smooth and fruity in the mouth. There are a myriad of flavours coming from toffee, spice and dried apricots, through to the more obvious barley and vanilla notes on the finish. This is a Tullibardine to savour and take ones time over."
